Henniker man arrested for arson


MATTHEW PATENAUDE 

HENNIKER – A local man has been arrested and charged with arson as a result of an investigation by the state Fire Marshal's Office into a fire at a home on Colby Hill Road Oct. 25.
Matthew Patenaude, 47, of Henniker was arrested Wednesday and is being held at the Merrimack County House of Corrections on $50,000 cash-only bail.
Patenaude is scheduled to appear in court for a probable cause hearing on Nov. 19.
State Fire Marshal J.William Degnan said the investigation with Henniker police and fire departments is continuing.
