Keene solicits comments on Marlboro Street area revamp
Plans to make the area more appealing to pedestrians and cyclists, reduce flooding, stabilize the single-family neighborhoods while at the same time attract mixed-use development to the area began in January.
“This week’s topic is the storm water recommendations and flood water recommendations,” said Michele Chalice, city planner.
From Friday to Nov. 21, the topic of the comment period will be zoning and regulatory change. From Nov. 22 to Nov. 28, the topic will be the Marlboro Street Corridor with regards to the roadway, parking, walking and bike riding.
The comment stations include an exhibit that shows a summary of the analysis as well as the recommendations for each aspect of the proposed plans.
“We’re really looking forward to folks coming down and being part of the input,” Chalice said.
