Police say Hooksett man fired shot into floor

HOOKSETT — Police have charged a resident with criminal mischief and reckless conduct after he allegedly smashed windows in the home he shared with his girlfriend, then allegedly fired a shot into the kitchen floor during an argument.

Police said Evan Weeks, 23, became upset and smashed the windows and doors in the Embassy Avenue home. He then allegedly took a gun that was inside the residence and fired the shot.

He was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail and faces arraignment on Dec. 4 in Hooksett District Court.
