Celtics post second straight win

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Brandon Bass scored 16 points, including a pair of key free throws with 10.5 seconds left, as visiting Boston rallied for its second straight win, 91-89, over the Orlando Magic on Friday.

Avery Bradley added 14 points and eight rebounds and Jordan Crawford and Courtney Lee scored 13 apiece for the Celtics, who have won nine straight against Orlando.

Jared Sullinger chipped in 11 points and Jeff Green had 10 for Boston, which won despite shooting just 35.8 percent overall and going 2-for-14 from 3-point range.

Arron Afflalo scored 23 points and Nikola Vucevic added 14 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Magic, who had a three-game winning streak snapped. Jameer Nelson finished with 12 points and seven assists for Orlando.

The Magic seemingly took control with a 12-0 run in the first quarter and led by as many as 12 in the second but allowed the Celtics to pull within 49-46 on Crawford's three-point play at the buzzer.

The Celtics got back in it by shutting down Vucevic, who scored 12 points in the first quarter but didn't get on the board again until knocking down a 21-foot jumper to tie it at 75 with 7:31 left. Boston pushed the lead back to 86-80 with 2:31 remaining and held on despite a four-point play and a three-point play from Afflalo in the final 1:38.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Orlando rookie SG Victor Oladipo finished with nine points, failing to reach double figures for the first time in his brief career. ... Eight of Green's points came off dunks. ... The Magic went 4-for-20 from 3-point range after entering the game hitting 41.6 percent from behind the arc.
