NH pedestrian dies after being hit on I-495 in Mass.


HAVERHILL, Mass. - A Kingston, N.H. man died Friday morning after being struck by a motor vehicle on Interstate 495 North near Exit 51.

Massachusetts State Police in Newbury received a report at 1:25 a.m. of a pedestrian being struck on that stretch of highway.

Troopers arrived at the scene along with members of the Haverhill Fire Department/EMS to find Nicholas Nadeau, 24, of Kingston, deceased.

The facts and circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation by Trooper Scott Campbell from the State Police Barracks in Newbury.
