Hopkinton girls beat Campbell in Division III girls' soccer semifinal


Courtney Benson tallied two goals to lead defending champion Hopkinton past seventh-ranked Campbell of Litchfield in the semifinal round of the Division III girls’ soccer tournament at Merrimack Valley of Penacook Wednesday.

In a rematch of last year’s title game won by the Hawks, Hopkinton will meet Bow in the state title game on Saturday at Southern New Hampshire University at 10 a.m.

Brianna Curley, Aaliyah Curley and Meg Hemmerlein scored for the Hawks (15-2-2). Nicole Golden tallied the lone goal for Campbell.
