Rochester police investigate series of thefts from vehicles

ROCHESTER — Police are looking into a series of thefts from vehicles in the Lowell Street area.

The thefts occurred the night of Oct. 29 and in the early morning hours of Oct. 30.

Police said a surveillance camera near one of the cars caught on tape a “person of interest.” The man is described as being about 5 foot, 8 inches tall, with an average build. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt that covered his head and face, according to police.
