UNH football ranked 25th
The University of New Hampshire’s football streak is alive — barely.
The Wildcats are ranked 25th in the latest Sports Network FCS Top 25 released Monday, extending their string of consecutive weeks ranked nationally to 136. UNH, 4-4 after its 17-0 loss at William & Mary on Saturday, was ranked 16th last week.
In the FCS Coaches Poll released Monday, the Wildcats are not listed in the top 25. They are the top team in the “others receiving votes” category, meaning they’re 26th.
The Wildcat hockey team, meanwhile, was unranked in both the USCHO.com and the USA Today/USA Hockey polls. UNH was among the “others receiving votes” in both, earning 13 points in the USCHO.com poll and one point in the USA Today/USA Hockey top-15 poll.
