HOLLIS — A New York man is facing felony drug charges after patrol officers became suspicious of a car parked outside the Nartoff Road cemetery Sunday night when the graveyard was closed.
Police said Brian W. Bianca, 20, of Bay Shore, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of LSD, both class B felonies.
He also was charged with possession of marijuana and transportation of a controlled drug, both class A misdemeanors.
Police said they recovered more than an ounce of marijuana from Bianca’s car.
Bail was initially set at $10,000 cash only, but at his arraignment Monday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division, it was lowered to $5,000 cash/surety. He is due back in court Nov. 14 for a probable cause hearing.
