Manchester police investigate shooting incident early Sunday


MANCHESTER - A report of shots being fired early Sunday morning is under investigation by police who recovered a .38 caliber shell casing from in front of 427 Manchester St.

A resident called police at 1:40 a.m. to report hearing two gunshots. He told officers he looked out the window and saw two cars leaving the area.

The one heading west on Manchester Street was a white sedan, possibly a Mazda. The other, which headed east on Manchester Street, was described as a black Honda Accord with three males inside. The driver was described as Hispanic and wearing a white T-shirt and red zip up sweatshirt.
