NHIAA field hockey champs will be crowned today

It's championship Sunday in NHIAA field hockey.

All three divisions of the state field hockey ranks will crown champions today at Bedford High School, while all four boys' soccer divisions play the quarterfinal round.

In Division I field hockey's final match, No. 2 Pinkerton Academy of Derry will play No. 4 Exeter at 5 p.m.

The Division II match takes place at 2:30 p.m. and pits top-ranked Windham against No. 6 Merrimack Valley of Penacook.

The Division III championship is slated for noon and will feature a meeting between No. 1 Derryfield School of Manchester and No. 3 Berlin.

Exeter (12-3-1) knocked off No. 1 Winnacunnet to reach the final. Pinkerton (15-1) beat Exeter 2-0 in the final game of the regular season.

Windham is 14-1-1 and beat Merrimack Valley (12-4-1) by a 4-1 score early in the season.

Derryfield (17-0-0) will look to complete a perfect season and claim its fourth consecutive championship. Berlin (15-1-1) did not play Derryfield in the regular season.

In Division I soccer action, No. 1 Hanover (16-0-1) will host No. 8 Timberlane of Plaistow (10-7-0) at 2 p.m., No. 4 Concord (13-2-2) hosts No. 5 Exeter (11-4-2) at 1 p.m., No. 2 Alvirne of Hudson (15-2-0) hosts No. 10 Londonderry (9-7-1) at 2 p.m. and No. 3 Manchester Central (14-2-1) hosts No. 6 Pinkerton Academy of Derry (12-5) at 2 p.m.
In Division II, all the games are at 2 p.m. No. 1 Windham (14-2) hosts No. 9 Souhegan of Amherst (9-8-0), No. 5 Lebanon (13-3-1) visits No. 4 Oyster River of Durham (13-2-2), No. 3 Pembroke (14-2-1) hosts No. 6 Portsmouth (12-2-3) and No. 7 ConVal of Peterborough (11-4-2) visits second-ranked Hollis-Brookline (14-2).
In Division III, all games are at 2 p.m. No. 1 Hopkinton (16-0-1) hosts No. 8 Laconia (12-5-0), No. 5 Raymond (14-3-0) plays at No. 4 Prospect Mountain of Alton (13-2-2), No. 14 Sanborn (10-8-0) is at No. 6 Stevens (13-4-0) and No. 2 Bow (15-1-1) will host No. 7 White Mountains of Whitefield (13-4).

In Division IV, all games are scheduled for a 2 p.m. start. Top seed Woodsville (15-1-1) will host No. 9 Gorham (10-6-1), No. 5 Sunapee (11-4-2) will visit No. 4 Colebrook (12-4-1), No. 3 Derryfield (14-2-1) will host No. 11 Lisbon (8-5-4) and No. 10 Profile of Bethlehem (9-5-3) will visit No. 2 Moultonborough (14-2-1).
