NHIAA Playoffs Roundup: Exeter girls top Lancers

Casey Estey and Krista Smith each scored as the top-seeded Exeter High School girls soccer team stretched its winning streak to 41 games by beating eighth-seeded Londonderry 2-0 Saturday in the Division I quarterfinals.Exeter (17-0-0) received two saves from Megan Defeo. Londonderry's Merissa Brousseau made seven stops.




Derryfield 6, Colebrook 0: At Manchester, Gabi Brummett scored four goals as second-seeded Derryfield raised its record to 17-1-0 and advanced to the Division IV semifinals. Cameron Huftalen made six saves for Derryfield, which also received goals from Margaret Ives and Emma Garfield.




Campbell 3, Belmont 1: At Belmont, Heather Baron made eight saves and Campbell got goals from three players en route to an upset of No. 2 seed Belmont. Angela Valenti scored in the 39th minute and Nikki Golden and Holly LesPerance added goals in the second half as the Cougars advanced to the Division II semifinals.




Souhegan 2, Goffstown 1: At Amherst, third-seeded Souhegan received two goals from Peyton Kent and eliminated sixth-seeded Goffstown. Michelle Trembley scored for the Grizzlies.




Hopkinton 4, Prospect Mountain 0: At Hopkinton, the third-seeded Hawks received goals from Courtney Benson, Kelly Scammon, Lilly Scammon and Meg Hemmerlein.




Newmarket 1, Epping 0: At Newmarket, Nicole Sanborn scored the game's only goal as fourth-seeded Newmarket advanced to the Division IV semifinals with a victory.
