NASHUA — A local man who had photographs on his cell phone of children engaging in sexual activity was sentenced Wednesday in Hillsborough County Superior Court to 10 to 25 years in state prison, according to a release from Hillsborough County Attorney Patricia LaFrance.
Scott Colby, 41, was reported by a witness on Jan. 30 as having the images on his phone. Colby allowed police to examine his phone and the images were found on the phone's memory card, the release said.
Police found "a number of deleted photos depicting prepubescent children engaged in sexual activity," the release said.
Colby pleaded guilty to numerous charges, including 18 counts of possessing child sexual abuse images and possession of cocaine.
