Feds cough up another $662K for water treatment plant for Stewartsdown, Canaan, Vt. after bids come in higher than expected

A total of $662,000 in additional USDA grant funding was provided to assist the towns. These funds will supplement previously approved loan/grant funding in the amount of $3,440,000 which was committed in 2011. Recent higher than anticipated bids caused the shortfall in funding.
