WINDHAM -- Town and state officials will gather in Windham next week to discuss the town’s economic future.
The event, which will be hosted by Michael Bergeron of the state Department of Resources and Economic Development (DRED), is scheduled for Nov. 7 in the community development room at Windham Town Hall. The forum, which is open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m.
Audience members will also have a chance to get their questions answered by area experts.
Numbers expected for school project
The project, originally estimated at $75 million, will go before voters in March.
“They are expected to provide our committee with a closer estimate for the cost of the high school project,” said Delahanty. “The committee members will meet and look at the costs, and then we will make some decisions regarding whether the materials identified are the right types of materials or if there are cost savings to see if we are in the ballpark of the original estimate.”
