Residents to face off against Strawbery Banke in court over skating rink
PORTSMOUTH — A date has been set in Rockingham County Superior Court for a hearing on whether the city Zoning Board of Adjustment erred when approving variances for a proposed ice skating rink at Strawbery Banke. The case, which will be heard Jan., 10, 2014, pits a group of 16 residents of the South End against Strawbery Banke Museum, a living-history museum situated in the heart of the historic neighborhood.
