Drugs, paraphernalia seized in Somersworth following year-long investigation

SOMERSWORTH – A Kelwyn Drive man is under arrest  after a year-long investigation by members of the New Hampshire Attorney General's Drug Task Force who said they confiscated cocaine, heroin, prescription pills and a marijuana plant in a search Wednesday of the man's home.
Travis Peppers, 24, of 60 Kelwyn Drive, is charged with the sale of a controlled drug, two counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and resisting arrest.
The search and subsequent arrest was part of an ongoing investigation which began about a year ago. After obtaining a warrant, police allegedly discovered an ounce of cocaine, five grams of heroin, 100 assorted prescription narcotic pills, a quantity of acid, one marijuana plant and $200 in cash.
Peppers was held at the Strafford County jail in Dover on $10,000 cash bail. During his arraignment in Dover Thursday, bail was converted to $10,000 personal recognizance with the conditions Peppers undergo drug testing and be monitored by Strafford County Community Corrections Program.
Members of the state drug task force and Somersworth police were assisted by officers from Rochester and deputies from the Strafford County Sherriff's Office.
More arrests are forthcoming, police said in a news release.
