Eat out to benefit Get Smart Hudson
From now through Nov. 3, the “Get Smart Hudson” fundraiser, sponsored by CCS New England and the two Nashua UNO restaurants, will give restaurant guests the chance to sponsor their schools.
“We are excited and proud to support such a great opportunity for Hudson schools,” said Rene LaChapelle, general manager of the Daniel Webster Highway UNO restaurant.
“I feel very strongly about our role in supporting the community and in particular the schools,” Lavery said. “I know how much time and effort parents and teachers put into the education of our kids.”
When the program concludes, the schools will receive their checks at a celebration party, at which time the winner of the SMART Board will be revealed.
Alvirne High School, Hudson Memorial School, H.O. Smith School and Hills Garrison, Nottingham West and Library Street elementary schools are all participating in the program.
