With some of the highest average salaries in the state, the Seacoast continues to be one of the most desirable job markets for teachers. A review of N.H. Department of Education data on average teacher salaries in public school districts shows local communities are among those in the state that provide the best compensation to educators. While the state average teacher salary was $54,314 in 2012-13, Stratham topped the list with an average salary of $73,545.
