NHIAA Roundup: Trinity boys prevail on soccer pitch; Central wins again

Zach Girard scored the game’s only goal on an assist from Graham Brenner to lift the Trinity of Manchester boys’ soccer team to a 1-0 over visiting Milford on Tuesday.
The Pioneers raised their record to 4-6-1. Milford fell to 0-11-1.
Manchester Central 3, Nashua South 0: In Manchester, the Little Green (11-2) won their 11th straight game behind goals from Keegan Laberge, Sam Binigono and Matt Read. Assists were collected by Anuj Khadka, Justin Reno and Binigono. Central goalies Alec Patterson and David Gagnon each had one save to combine on the shutout. Binigono has 11 goals and eight assists.
Hanover 6, Keene 0: At Keene, Daniel Hazlett scored his team-high 14th goal of the season and added an assist as Hanover improved its record to 13-0-0. Rocco Linehan scored twice for the Marauders, who also received goals from Jamie Dinuous, Andrew Kazel and Tim Alibozek. Alex Bynum made two saves to record his ninth shutout of the season.
Alvirne 3, Winnacunnet 2: At Hudson, Brett Richardson, Matt Lubinski and Ethan Beals scored for the Broncos, who received two assists from Billy Perry.
Pembroke 2, Souhegan 1: At Amherst, two goals by Austin Sartwell helped Pembroke overcome an early 1-0 deficit and improve to 9-2-1. Josh Anson scored for Souhegan, which fell to 6-7-0.
Hollis/Brookline 1, Coe-Brown 0: At Hollis, Harrison Fetter scored off an assist from Nathan Rogers and the Cavaliers received a two-save performance from Michael Pattelena.
Londonderry 2, Timberlane 0: At Plaistow, Nick Brodeur and Tom Cranmer scored to lift the Lancers (6-7-1). Jeff Baroody made 12 saves for the shutout. Timberlane’s Matt Salois made nine saves and teammate Matt Rose stopped six shots, but the Owls slipped to 7-6-0.
Manchester Central 2, Keene 1 (OT): In Keene, Devin Lacroix scored the game-winner at 87:05 on a low shot to the corner. Sarah Michaud gained the assist to help Central improve to 11-3. Sara Swetland provided Central with a 1-0 lead in the 43rd minute and Sarah Thompson had the assist. Lindsay St. Pierre turned back 10 shots for Central for the shutout.
Epping 7, Portsmouth Christian 0: Sabrina Rivers had a hat trick, and Deanna McCullen and Ashley Krenzer added two goals each for Epping, 6-7.
Timberlane 3, Londonderry 0: At Londonderry, senior Nora Magliochetti collected her first varsity goal and the Owls also received goals from Nicole Bruen and Sam Coryea. Emily Barrett made 10 saves for Timberlane, which improved to 6-6-1. Londonderry fell to 7-5-2.
Hillsboro-Deering 3, Newport 1: At Hillsborough, Morgan Winters, Hannah Murdough and Bridgette Winters scored for Hillsboro-Deering, which received four saves from Emma Moore.
Hollis/Brookline 2, Hanover 0: At Hanover, Hannah Modelski and Kashka Gammon each had a goal and an assist for the Cavaliers, who improved to 6-5 on Monday. Hollis/Brookline goalkeeper Ryan Philbrook made eight saves. Hanover fell to 5-3-4.
St. Thomas 5, Goffstown 4 (OT): At Dover, Goffstown’s Michele Tremblay scored four goals, but Shanley King’s overtime goal secured the win for the Saints (5-7). Goffstown dropped to 8-3-1.
Pinkerton 3, Nashua South 0: At Derry, Grace DiPersio, Jaqui Wyka and Katyann Grochmal each scored for the Astros, who raised their Division I record to 11-2-0. Julia Bousquet made eight saves for Pinkerton. Nashua South fell to 2-11-1.
Campbell 3, Bishop Brady 2: At Concord, Olivia Crema scored two goal and collected an assist to help Campbell raise its record to 10-3-1. Sydney Crema, Olivia’s older sister, added a goal and two assists.
Bishop Brady fell to 7-6-1 with the loss.
Plymouth 5, Bow 0: Jessica Toomey scored twice for host Plymouth in its victory over Bow. Plymouth completed the regular season with an 8-5-1 record. Ann Furbush, Nora Healey and Angelina Stewart also scored for the Bobcats. Bow dropped to 3-10-0.
Derryfield 3, Pelham 0: In Pelham, the Cougars improved to 13-0 behind goals from Colbi Vaillancourt (21st of the season), Berklee Vaillancourt (15th) and Zoe PiSierra (3rd). Colbi Vaillancourt added two assists and now has 14 on the season. Defense was led by Pat Green, Cecelia Pembleton, Mary Quinn and goalie Kate Johnson.
Londonderry 7, Nashua South 0: At Londonderry, Jackie Curtin and Jannelle Magoon each scored twice to help the Lancers raise their record to 4-6-3. Julie Hamilton, Tianna Federico and Hannah Cohen also scored for Londonderry. Nashua South slipped to 1-12.
Bishop Guertin 5, Nashua North 0: In Nashua, goals were provided by Kristin Cameron, Mia Vecchione, Dakota Bilodeau, Haley Mahan and Caley Prunier. Kelly Mahoney had 13 saves for the Cardinals.
Merrimack 3, Spaulding 0 (25-27, 25-21, 25-23): In Merrimack, Jen Coffey had 22 kills and Caitlyn Paulson added 15 service points. Elise Jolly contributed 13 service points and Jo Coffey had 15 service points and 15 digs with 36 assists. Christie Roy had one block.
Nute 3, Epping 0: At Milton, Logan Miner had two kills and two aces, but Epping slipped to 6-6 following this 25-8, 25-13, 25-9 loss.
Pinkerton 3, Memorial 0: At Derry, Elizabeth Hicks had seven aces, two kills and 14 assists to highlight Pinkerton’s victory. The Astros received seven kills from Courtney Collins. Sarah Labore had four kills for Memorial.
Hollis/Brookline 3, Keene 0: At Keene, Savannah Werne had eight kills and 10 service points to help the Cavaliers improve to 6-8 with a 25-11, 25-13 and 25-3 victory. Hollis/Brookline received nine service points and five aces from Kayla Barron, and 15 service points and seven aces from Sophie Saunders. The loss dropped Keene’s record to 1-12.
Timberlane 3, Londonderry 2: The Owls prevailed by scores of 26-24, 23-25, 19-25, 25-15 and 15-7. For the Lancers, kill leaders were Mariska Feenstra (eight) and Maggie Connors (seven). Taylor Collins and Connors had three blocks each. Cassie Burbine and Emily Georgakopoulos notched 15 and 10 assists, respectively. Lauren Reinhold had 19 digs and Taylor Fitton added 11. Christina Nye’s 22 kills and 19 digs paced Timberlane, and Olivia Harnois had 44 assists.
