Merrimack stove shop helping vets

MERRIMACK — All Basics Stove Shop has announced a program to give back to a veteran or spouse of a veteran experiencing loss of a family member or hard times.
Letters and or essays describing this experience will be accepted until Nov. 1 and should be dropped off or mailed to All Basics Stove Shop at 236 D.W. Highway, Merrimack, 03054.
The selected individual or family will be notified on Nov. 1 and announced on Veterans Day, Nov 11.
This family or veteran will receive a new pellet stove, floor protection, professional installation with parts, and a half a ton of premium pellet fuel.
Store owner David G. Yakuboff Sr. served in the U.S. Navy for almost 10 years and his son also served in the U.S. Army and completed two tours in Iraq.
Requirements: Active veteran, veteran who served or spouse are eligible. Proof of service by member or spouse is required. The installation area is in southern New Hampshire.
Children of veterans can also write the letter or essay. All information in letters or essays will be destroyed after the selection process and will be kept confidential in nature.
No employee of the stove shop will be eligible to win. Friends or family member who feels that a veteran needs a little help are also eligible.
