Three plead innocent in Hampton woman’s death

BRENTWOOD — Three people charged with killing Amanda “Amy” Warf, 36, waived their first court appearances before a judge on Wednesday.

Aaron Desjardins, 37, of Epping, entered a not guilty plea to charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit hindering apprehension.

Prosecutors say Desjardins kidnapped his ex-wife on March 7 and slit her throat inside the abandoned City Concrete plant in Exeter.

Not guilty pleas were also entered for Desjardins’ wife, Sarah, and Michele Corson, 44, of Skowhegan, Maine.

Corson and Sarah Desjardins, 34, of Epping, each face charges of accomplice to commit first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit hindering apprehension.

Defense lawyers for all three suspects submitted waivers to a judge and formally entered not guilty pleas instead of having a hearing, according to court staff.

Because the trio faces first-degree murder charges, they are ineligible for bail. No new hearing dates have been set.

The charges of first-degree murder and accomplice to first-degree murder carries sentences of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
