Dad arrested for violating custody after taking child across state lines to Va.

STANLEY OSURI

NASHUA - A Manchester man is under arrest, accused of taking his child across state lines to Virginia, violating custody.

Stanley Osuri, 48, of 423 Shasta St., was arrested on a warrant charging him with interference with custody, a class B felony.

At 6 p.m. on Oct. 1 police were called about Osuri, who had left the state with his child and was refusing to return the toddler to the mother who has physical custody.

Police obtained a warrant for Osuri’s arrest, and he and the child were located in Virginia where he was arrested on a warrant charging him with being a fugitive. He was brought back to New Hampshire after he waived extradition.

Police said the child was unharmed and returned to the mother.

What's next: Osuri is being held on $10,000 cash/surety bail pending arraignment Tuesday in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division.
