Nashua stats incongruity creates appearance of dramatic drop in family income
Data published in the city’s last two comprehensive annual financial reports showed median family incomes dropped sharply, sinking from around $81,000 in 2010 to about $61,000 in 2012. In a memo to Mayor Donnalee Lozeau and the Board of Aldermen, the city’s chief financial officer, John Griffin, said Tuesday that family income data included in the city’s 2011 and 2012 financial reports was incorrect.
