Police: Woman directly gave Darriean Hess fentanyl before deadly crash

SEABROOK -  Cindy Sheppard allegedly squeezed an amount of the painkiller fentanyl onto Darriean Hess' finger in an effort to calm her down after she, an unlicensed driver, had been pulled over by Hampton police for speeding and hours before her involvement in a fatal crash, police alleged during Sheppard's probable cause hearing in Circuit Court on Wednesday.
