Police ask public to help ID smash-and-grab robber at Benson Park in Hudson

HUDSON - Police are looking for help identifying the suspect in a car robbery at Benson Park in Hudson.

Thieves broke into a car and stole a woman's purse at the park on Sept. 17. Nearly two weeks later, on Sept. 29, a charge for gasoline at a Gulf station near the park soon after the robbery was discovered on the victim's account. Police obtained a photograph of a woman who was in the car from the gas station video system and tied her to the man who used the charge plate to make the gasoline purchase.

Detectives have released a photograph of the woman and ask that anyone with information concerning the suspect's identity contact Hudson Police at (603) 866-6011 or call the Hudson Crime Line at (603) 594-1150,
