Inmate reported missing from Manchester halfway house

MANCHESTER — Authorities are searching for an inmate and registered sex offender who apparently did not return to the Calumet Transitional Housing Unit at an appointed time, according to a release from the state Department of Corrections.

Antonio Lionel Dustin, 53, of Manchester, was allowed to leave the facility at 4 a.m. Friday to go to work and was supposed to return at 6 p.m. Friday. He is serving a 1 1/2 to 4 year prison sentence after being convicted of failing to register as a sex offender, the release said.

Dustin is described as white, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 195 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes and several tattoos on his right arm.

Anyone with information is asked to call either local law enforcement or the state prison at 271-1801.
