To be built with an investment of around $150m, the project, which is the company's third wind farm in New Hampshire, will generate enough electricity to power around 30,000 average homes. The project will create around 300 construction jobs and five or six permanent jobs for operation as well as contribute an estimated amount of $1.6m annually to the local community, or more than $33m over 20 years, boosting the local economy.
