Winnacunnet of Hampton continued its trail of perfection with a 3-0 win over host Concord in field hockey action Wednesday.
Madison Holt, Liz Auffant and Megan Chase scored first half goals to keep Winnacunnet (9-0) unbeaten. Lily Cragg picked up the shutout for Winnacunnet. Concord (5-6) goalie Colleen Casey made 10 saves.
Pinkerton 3, Merrimack 0: At Derry, Gabby Guerard scored twice and Haley Harrington added a goal to lead the 9-1 Astros. Jessica Cote had two assists and Kaylie DeCosmo had one. Pinkerton goalie Jordan Dudley had nine saves. Merrimack fell to 5-5.
Salem 2, Londonderry 0: At Salem, the 9-2 Blue Devils were led by goals from Allie Sirmaian and Abbey Raymond. Amanda Travaglini had an assist and winning goalie Meaghan Williams had two saves. Londonderry netminder Katie Montminy turned back 11 shots.
Kennett 3, Plymouth 1: At Conway, Kennett led 2-0 in the first 10 minutes. Plymouth made it 2-1 on a Shelby White goal, but Kennnet would add another with 2:00 remaining on a Robyn Coffield score. Kennett is now 7-3 while Plymouth fell to 5-4-1.
Timberlane 4, Salem 1: At Salem, the Blue Devils (0-6-2) led at halftime. Timberlane (4-5-1) responded behind Alicia Ross who had two goals and one assist. Nicole Bruen had one goal and one assist. Emily Jackson scored the fourth Timberlane goal. Emily Barrett had two saves for Timberlane. Ally Stift had 15 saves in net for Salem.
Derryfield 9, Concord Christian 0: At Concord, Derryfield School of Manchester remained unbeaten at 9-0 with a win Wednesday.
Gabi Brummett scored three goals and Chloe Warner added two for Derryfield. Brynn Polgrean, Sophia Allard and Spencer Neville added solo tallies.
Inter-Lakes 4, Prospect Mountain 1: At Meredith, the Lakers imrpoved to 7-3 on a hat trick from Caitlinn Rotonnelli, giving her 22 goals on the year. Sarah Dunlap scored the fourth goal.
Sanborn 4, Pelham 1: At Pelham, Sanborn was led by Haley Martin who had three goals. Deven Freihofer tallied the other goal for Sanborn (5-5).
Derryfield 6, Concord Christian 2: In Concord at NHTI, the 9-1 Cougars got four first half goals from Jack St. Jean, Griffin Phaneuf, Pat Critz and Austin Hammer. Jared Schoneberger and Jack St. Jean each scored in the second half. Tommy Cissel had six saves for Derryfield.
Hillsboro-Deering 3, Conant 0: At Jaffrey, the game was deadlocked at 0-0 until the 49th minute when Josh Gould broke through for HD (3-4-2). Billy Dubuque and Max Parenteau finished with goals and Troy Girard had two assists. Connor Lane made three saves for HD. Tyler Desmaris stopped seven for Conant.
Pembroke 5, St. Thomas 1 (Tuesday): Parker Heath found the twine twice to lead Pembroke Academy to a 5-1 victory against St. Thomas Aquinas in boys' soccer in Dover Tuesday.
Bedford 3, Bishop Guertin 0: At Bedford, the hosts improved to 8-2 with a straight sets win by scores of 25-11, 25-20 and 25-17. Hannah Koehler (14 kills, seven aces), Courtney O'Connell (four kills, two blocks) and Sadhana Tadepalli (10 assists, four digs) led the way.
Goffstown 3, Concord 0: At Concord, the Crimson Tide were led by Caitlyn Shea (17 assists), Claire Celestin (seven kills) and Samantha Turner with five kills and three blocks. Goffstown was paced by Jess Williamson (15 kills, four aces), Kendra Siemiesz (24 assists, four blocks), Rene Roggenbuck (eight kills, seven blocks) and Katie Howe with five kills and four blocks.
Pinkerton 3, Winnacunnet 1: At Derry, Elizabeth Hicks led Pinkerton with 17 assists and 13 digs. Taylor Ferdinando added 20 assists and five digs and Lexie Verreault had 48 digs. The Astros won by scores of 25-23, 27-25, 26-28 and 25-15.
Inter-Lakes 3, Franklin 0: At Franklin, Inter-Lakes improved to 7-3 in the NHIAA Division III standings. Senior captain Jordan Donohue registered 16 kills, eight service points, seven aces and five digs. Hayley Roth notched 23 assists, and nine service points. Victoria Burns recorded 12 service points, including eight straight in the first set. Lydia Swedberg contributed nine service points and five digs.
Nashua North 3, Hollis-Brookline 2 (25-14, 22-25, 25-17, 22-25, 15-11): At Nashua, Hollis-Brookline (3-6) was led Savannah Werne (12 kills, seven aces), Maddy Blake (10 kills, three blocks), Kristin Johnson (three blocks) and Emma Tanner (19 assists). Nashua North is now 7-3.
Winnisquam 3, Belmont 0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-19): Belmont lost their first match in nine outings. Jessie Bergeron dug her 500th career ball during the second match against the Bears.
Trinity 3, Wilton-Lyndonborough 1 (25-18, 11-25, 25-15, 25-12): Trinity was led by Amanda Cole with 14 assists. Irean Ali had 11 service points and Kayla Tremblay had four blocks.
