Man sustains life-threatening injuries when cutting down a tree in Hooksett
HOOKSETT – A man is in Elliot Hospital in Manchester with life-threatening injuries he sustained Thursday afternoon when trying to cut down a pine tree in his backyard in Hooksett.
The man, who was not identified by Hooksett Fire Department officials, was found non-responsive in the backyard of the residence at 47 Mammoth Road with what appeared to be head injuries, deputy fire chief Dean Jore said.
Jore added that the man had to be given CPR on the way to the hospital and was non-responsive when he was dropped off.
