NHIAA Roundup: Harlow leads Pembroke to girls’ soccer victory

Emilee Harlow scored a pair of goals to lead Pembroke Academy to a 3-0 win over host Milford in NHIAA girls’ soccer action Monday afternoon.
Pembroke improved to 2-4-0 while the defending Division II state champion Milford squad fell to 1-6-0.
Katie Morency got the scoring started for Pembroke in the 15th minute with a high, arcing shot that just eluded the fingertips of Milford goalkeeper Becca Cleary as she jumped for it.
Harlow scored on a direct kick in the 30th minute from about 25 yards out, putting a hard shot on net that Cleary got a piece of but could not stop from reaching the back of the net.
Harlow closed the scoring in the 46th minute, banging a shot off the far post and in from the left side. Pembroke goalie Kristin Kezar made 10 saves in the shutout.
Sunapee 4, Newport 0: At Newport, Sunapee opened the scoring five minutes in on an unassisted bomb from Meg Clarenbach. Mary Grzanna, Abby Armstrong and Danny Usko added goals for Sunapee (6-1-0). Newport fell to 1-6-0.
Timberlane 2, Bishop Guertin 1: At Plaistow, the Owls notched first-half goals from Maggie Bailey and Courtney Sickel. Mia Vecchione scored with 20 minutes remaining to pull BG within one. Jess Walsh made six saves for Timberlane (5-1) in the win. Kelly Mahoney made four saves for BG (3-4).
Salem 3, Dover 0: At Dover, goals from Abbey Raymond, Kiley Keenan and Amanda Travaglini paced 6-2 Salem. Raymond and Kelsey Collins each had one assist. Salem goalie Meaghan Williams had one save.
Derryfield 1, Stevens 0: At Claremont, Polly Carter scored the lone goal, her ninth of the season, in the 20th minute of the first half. Colbi Vaillancourt added her eighth season assist for Derryfield, now 6-0, Derryfield goalie Kate Johnson earned the win, but the defense didn’t allow Stevens a shot. Berklee Vaillancourt, Pat Green, Theo O’Leary and Cecelia Templeton each played well on defense.
Pinkerton 3, Concord 0: At Concord, Haley Harrington, Erin Johnston and Kaylie DeCosmo scored to lead the Astros (6-1). Jordan Dudley made four saves for the shutout. Concord fell to 4-3.
Campbell 5, Somersworth 4: At Litchfield, Christian Wallenmaier scored two goals including the winning one with 10 seconds remaining to lead Campbell. Ben Billings scored twice and Jon Donaghey added his ninth of the season for the 3-3 Cougars.
Zach Hamilton had two goals for 1-5 Somersworth, which led 3-1 at halftime. Wallenmaier and Andrew Smarse each had two assists in the win. Campbell goalies Andrew Picard (nine saves) and Dan Wallace (two) shared the win.
Sanborn 2, Hillsboro-Deering 1: At Hillsborough, Cooper Johnson staked HD to a 1-0 lead but an own goal and tally from Austin Clough in the 69th minute pushed Sanborn to the win.
Epping 6, Nute 0: At Epping, the hosts (4-2) got goals from Ryan O’Hare, Jake West, Aziz Zerguine, Cooper Garrow, Madison Demars and James Stanley.
Hanover 7, Dover 0: At Dover, Hanover remained undefeated (7-0) with its sixth shutout win behind goalie Konrad Mitchell, who registered his first season win with three saves. Daniel Hazlett moved up Hanover’s all-time goals’ scoring list to seventh with a hat trick, giving him eight for the season and 33 for his career.
Xavier Tchana (goal, two assists), Rocco Linehan (goal, assist), Asa Berolzheimer (goal) and Noah Kahan (goal) provided more offense against 1-5-1 Dover. Evan Greenwald added his sixth season assist.
Lebanon 3, Stevens 0: At Lebanon, the hosts improved to 5-1, handing Stevens (5-1) its first loss. Martin Gradijan, Will Merchant and Tate Singleton scored the goals. Lebanon goalies Kenny Weitzman and Miguel Hernandez split the shutout. Austin Putnam made eight saves for Stevens.
Inter-Lakes 2, White Mountains 1, OT: At Meredith, Trevor Hentz scored late in the first overtime session to help the Lakers (4-4) hand the Spartans (5-1) their first loss of the season. Mason Peverley scored the other I-L goal.
Bedford 3, Manchester Memorial 0: At Manchester, Bedford improved to 3-2 with game wins of 25-10, 25-17 and 25-17. Bedford’s Hannah Koehler (14 kills, six blocks), Sadhana Tadepalli (11 assists) and Abby Guerra (20 service points, 15 digs) led the way.
Goffstown 3, Manchester Memorial 1: At Manchester, Goffstown won by game scores of 25-14, 25-16, 19-25 and 25-12. The Grizzlies (3-3) were led by Kelsey Conway (16 service points) and Jess Williamson (12 kills). Memorial (0-6) was paced by Rene Roggenbuck (10 kills, three aces) and Kendra Siemiesz (16 assists, four kills).
John Stark 3, Trinity 2: At Weare, John Stark won a back-and-forth match. Stark was led by Alex Story (eight aces) and Shelby Broullet (six kills). Trinity was led by Kayla Tremblay (four blocks), Amanda Torres (three aces) and Amanda Cole (13 assists).
Bishop Guertin 3, Winnacunnet 1: At Nashua, the Cardinals improved to 4-2 on game scores of 25- 12, 15-25, 25-20 and 25-21. Lexie Cambray (eight kills), Sarah Shields (six kills), Michelle Langlois (six kills) and Kasey Massicotte (15 assists) led BG.
Merrimack 3, Exeter 0: At Exeter, Merrimack improved to 4-1 with wins of 25-18, 25-18 and 25-18. Leading the way for Merrimack were Jen Coffey (20 kills, 14 digs), Jo Coffey (11 digs, 11 digs and 31 assists), Christie Roy (12 digs, two blocks) and Elise Jolly (four aces, two blocks, five digs and five kills).
Bedford 3, Salem 1 (25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 25-5): Hannah Koehler led Bedford (4-2) with 13 kills and two blocks. Becca Foti amassed nine kills and eight digs and Julia Elmendorf added 22 service points.
