Calling all bicyclists, walkers for Bedford plan
BEDFORD — A steering committee is seeking input from bicyclists and walkers to help develop a plan to improve bike paths and trails in town.
Walkers and bicyclists are invited to provide their comments in an online survey at www.bedfordnh.org; click on “Pedestrian and Bicycle Connectivity Survey” and fill out the 10-question form. The survey is anonymous.
There is also an interactive map of Bedford where you can pinpoint the areas of most interest to you and your family.
Members of the committee will be on hand to discuss the project and the survey from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Bedford Farmers Market in the parking lot of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish on Meetinghouse Road.
Also today, the committee will meet with the Bedford Conservation Commission and the Bedford Land Trust about existing trails and the priorities for potential future development. The meeting takes place at 7 p.m., at BCTV Studios, 10 Meetinghouse Road In addition, a forum will be held on Monday, Sept. 30, at 5 p.m. at BCTV Studios.
