Concord’s BearCat causes brouhaha, Nashua was first department in state to own one

NASHUA – While the New Hampshire Civil Liberties Union and other activists tried to dissuade Concord city councilors from spending hundreds of thousands of federal grant dollars on a “military-style vehicle,” an earlier version of the same vehicle was sitting inside a garage bay at the Nashua Police Department – where it’s been for more than a decade.
