Magdalen College among few to hold line on traditional Catholic values
One study found that after four years in a Catholic college support for gay marriage rose from 52.4% to 69.5%. Such findings have led some conservatives to create a list of a dozen or so ‘totally safe’ Catholic colleges where parents will feel assured that their faith will be re-enforced rather than diluted. These include the Franciscan University of Steubenvlle in Ohio, Ave Maria University in Florida, the University of Dallas, and Magdalen College in New Hampshire.
