West Nile spraying in Raymond

RAYMOND — The town has moved up mosquito spraying in town and school fields to Thursday, after West Nile virus was detected in mosquitoes trapped in town, officials said.

Spraying will take place at the elementary school, middle school, high school, town common, Riverside Park, the skateboard park, Welch Field and Cammet Field. The sites will be closed from 5 p.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. FridayThe insecticides Duet and CrossCheck will be used.
