Body found in Concord woods near Route 106
CONCORD-- Police say they know little about badly decomposed body that was reported to them this morning, found in a wooded area off Route 106 near the entrance to Walmart.
The age, the gender, and identity of the body are uncertain as of early Tuesday afternoon, said police Lt. Timothy O'Malley.
Police roped off a wooded area, located down a small embankment off the road. Homeless people are known to frequent the area, he said.
O'Malley said detectives spent the morning at the scene, and the body would soon be removed.
The New Hampshire Medical Examiner could undertake a preliminary autopsy Wednesday, he said.
"I'm not going to call it a crime scene because I don't know if we have a crime," he said.
