Power Poll: Concord moves into tie with Bedford, behind Exeter

Coming off a 52-13 demolition of Salem, Concord moved into a second-place tie with Bedford in the Union Leader/WGIR/WMUR Power Poll of the state's top high school football teams. Exeter remained a unanimous pick as No. 1.

All three teams are 2-0.

The rest of the poll remained the same, with Nashua South, also 2-0, at No. 4, and Pinkerton Academy of Derry (1-1) at No. 5.

Rounding out the top 10 are Winnacunnet of Hampton, Keene, Trinity of Manchester, Londonderry and Plymouth Regional. All but Keene (1-1) are 2-0. Trinity and Plymouth, both competing in Division II, were the only non-Division I teams to receive votes.

Two games this week feature top-10 teams: Bedford at Londonderry Friday night and Winnacunnet at Exeter Saturday afternoon. Keene plays the only other team to receive votes, Bishop Guertin of Nashua (1-1), Saturday night at Stellos Stadium in Nashua.
