Man arrested in connection with Hanover burglaries

HANOVER — The Claremont man believed by police to be behind a string of July home burglaries returned from Oklahoma Tuesday to turn himself in, police said Thursday.

Brandon Mull, 23, of both Claremont and Oklahoma City, Okla., was arrested Tuesday in Charlestown for two counts of burglary, class A felonies.

On July 30, multiple homes were burglarized in a Hanover neighborhood.

During the investigation following the crimes, police focused on a suspect vehicle that was seen in the area at the time of the crimes, police said in a press release Thursday.

The vehicle was registered to a Claremont woman and later connected to Mull, police said.

After the execution of multiple search warrants, sufficient evidence was recovered to link Mull to the crimes and a warrant for his arrest was issued Aug. 2.

During the investigation, police learned Mull had left the area and was believed to be in Oklahoma.

When Mull heard about the active warrant he returned to New Hampshire and cooperated with police in scheduling his arrest.

Mull is currently being held at the Grafton County House of Correction in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.

He is scheduled to appear in the in the 2nd Circuit Court District Division in Lebanon Sept. 19.
