Hudson man arrested after officer tries to flag him over

ROBERT DRAKE

HUDSON – A Hudson man was arrested Monday morning around 8:20 a.m. after police say he drove around an officer who was attempting to stop him for entering a restricted street.
After a short pursuit, police say Robert Drake, 51, drove to his home on Webster Street and was able to break free as the officer attempted to arrest him.
Police say he made it into his residence but surrendered a short time later.
Police say the incident started on Webster Street near Elam Avenue, which is restricted to exit only during the hours of 6:30 and 9:30 a.m. Police say Drake entered against the "Do Not Enter" signs.
Drake was charged with disobeying a police officer, resisting arrest or detention, traffic control device violation and uninspected motor vehicle.
He raised the $2,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in 9th Circuit Court, Nashua District Division, at a later date.
