Hollis/Brookline remained undefeated at 5-0 by edging host Pembroke by a 2-1 score in NHIAA boys' soccer action Wednesday. Nate Rogers and Cole Owens staked Hollis/Brookline to a 2-0 lead in the first half. Jake Gaskill scored in the 67th minute to pull Pembroke (2-1) within a goal.

Volleyball

Hillsboro-Deering 3, Stevens 0: Ginny Philbrick and Emily Hatcher had 10 aces each to lead the way for HD, which won by scores of 25-4, 25-8 and 25-11.


Epping 3, Trinity 1: Epping won by game scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-21 and 25-21. Epping was led by Olivia Goodrich (seven aces, 29 assists), Eliza Kucera (nine aces, 16 kills) and Katie Pettis (11 digs).


Bishop Guertin 3, Londonderry 2: Bishop Guertin won the match 25-21, 26-24, 9-25, 22-25 and 15-13. Leading Londonderry were

Taylor Collins (13 Kills, 7 blocks), Mariska Feenstra (13 Kills) and Cassy Burbine (26 assists). Leading BG were Kelsi Massicotte (18 digs), Kasey Massicotte (16 assists) and Michele Langlois (7 blocks, 5 kills).

Boys' soccer

Kearsarge 8, Conant 1: Nick Bailey scored two goals and Karver Bosela, Roudy Rehor, Nick Brady, Jacob Donovan and Andrew VanHooydonk added single tallies to lead Kearsarge of North Sutton (1-1-1).

Conant of Jaffrey fell to 0-3.


Inter-Lakes 5, Winnisquam 1: Ryan Hanbrook and Logan Taylor had two goals each and Hunter Johnson added a single tally for Inter-Lakes of Meredith (3-1). Winnisquam of Tilton (1-3) got its lone goal from Henry Stock.


Bow 3, Hillsboro-Deering 2: Thomas Irving and Cooper Johnson scored for Hillsboro-Deering but it was not enough to topple the defending champion Falcons (4-0).


ConVal 5, Monadnock 0: Matt Czerski, Ian Szep and Austin Wheeler scored in the first half and Stephen Twitchell added two in the second for ConVal of PeterboroUGH (3-0-1). Monadnock of Swanzey fell to 0-3-1.

Salem 4, Manchester Memorial 1: On Tuesday, Darren Righini (goal) and Christian Moreno (goal, assist) led host Salem (4-0) to the win. Memorial fell to 0-2-2.


Derryfield 2, Sunapee 1: In Sunapee, Derryfield (3-0) was led by Jared Schoneberger who had one goal and one assist. Ryan Stagg scored the eventually winning goal. Nick Skarin scored for Sunapee (1-2-1) in the 74th minute.
Bow 3, Hillsboro-Deering 2: Tom Irving and Cooper Johnson each scored for Hillsboro-Deering. Max Parenteau and Troy Girard each had an assist in the loss. Bow goalie Tim Bradley had one save.

Derryfield netminder Drew Johnson had five saves. Sunapee goalie James Fitzgerald turned back 12 shots.

Girls' soccer

Derryfield 2, Sunapee 1: In Sunapee, Derryfield trailed 2:15 into the game on an own goal by Sunapee. But the Cougars responded on an unassisted goal from Emma Polgrean and the winning goal at 42:15 from Margaret Ives. The assist went to Gabi Brummett. Sunapee keeper Danielle Usko had nine saves and Derryfield keeper Cam Huftalen turned back 18 shots.

Field hockey

Salem 5, Memorial 0: In Salem, Chantalle Dumont recorded three goals. Allie Sirmaian and Lizzy Twomey each had one goal for Salem (4-0). Salem goalie Meaghan Williams turned back two shots. Amanda Travaglini had three assists. Memorial goalie Katie Jordan had 17 saves.

Hanover 2, Plymouth 1: In Hanover, Plymouth (1-2) was led by Angelina Stewart who scored the only goal assisted by Samantha Gaumer. Hannah Seibel and Christine Crolton scored for Hanover. Plymouth goalie Emelia Karntakosol stopped 17 shots and Hanover netminder Elizabeth Sachsse had six saves. Midfielder Riley Karp played well for the Bobcats.

Exeter 4, Bishop Guertin 2: Exeter opened the scoring in the first half with goals from Caroline Martel and Andrea Smith (assisted by Jordan Teixeira). Kristin Cameron of BG open the second half scoring with a goal, assisted by Caley Prunier. Smith scored her second of the game (assisted by Emma Brown) before Carly Caveny of BG answered with a goal assisted by Cameron. Teixeira added the final score for Exeter on a penalty stroke.

Memorial falls to 0-4.


Central 2, Dover 1: Abby Jackson scored with 3:27 remaining in the game to give Central (1-2) the win at Dover (0-4). Stephanie Gardner gave Central a 1-0 lead in the first half and Meghan Wilson tied it for Dover in the second.


Pinkerton 6, Keene 1: Kaylie Decosmo scored four goals and Julie Saltamartini added four assists to lead Pinkerton (2-1). Keene fell to 1-2.Concord 5, Nashua South 1: In Nashua, Alyssa Freeman scored the lone goal for the Panthers (0-4).
