Skimming device discovered on Portsmouth ATM

PORTSMOUTH — Police are looking for a man suspected of placing a skimming device on a downtown ATM machine.

On Wednesday police released an image of the man they believe placed the account information-collecting device on a Bank of America ATM between July 14 and July 18.

The ATM is located at 3 Pleasant St.

The suspect is described as a white man with brown hair. In video surveillance images, he is wearing sunglasses, a red T-shirt and gray pants.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact Detective Adam Kozlowski at 610-7538 or Seacoast Crime Stoppers at 431-1199 to remain anonymous.
