Pizza firm raising money for vets

PITTSFIELD — Brad Sterl, CEO of Rustic Crust Old World Crusts and Flatbread Pizzas, is challenging New Hampshire companies to join him in supporting disabled veterans via the purchase of specialized wheelchairs.

Rustic Crust and its sister brand, American Flatbread, are raising funds for the purchase of all-terrain wheelchairs for veterans, and the brands have launched a Facebook campaign to enlist their 75,000 fans to donate toward the purchase of these state-of-the-art "track" chairs.

"I hope other New Hampshire businesses will join us in this amazing effort," says Sterl. "As we debate war in Syria, let's keep our focus on the brave service men and women who continue to serve our country and represent the best of America around the world."

Companies and individuals wishing to donate can do so by visiting the companies' two Facebook pages — www.facebook.com/americanflatbread or www.facebook.com/rusticcrust.
