Weare man hurt in Goffstown wreck

GOFFSTOWN — A Weare man was injured Wednesday when he drove his car hit a tree, police said.

Randy Berndt, 56, suffered serious, but not life threatening, injuries when he drove off Goffstown Back Road about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and hit a tree, police Sgt. Christopher Weeks said. He said police do not yet know why the accident happened.

Berndt was taken to Catholic Medical Center in Manchester for treatment.
