Former IT director at county arrested for giving away iPad




Miller, who owns a personal pool maintenance business, had done some off-duty pool service work for Smith around June or July, according to Miller’s statements described in the affidavit. After the work was finished, Smith “started to tally up the bill,” then went to his home and retrieved a new iPad, which he handed to Miller. When Miller stated he did not need an iPad, Smith insisted he take it, because he “gets stuff for free for doing business with vendors.”
