NHIAA Roundup: Overtime goal lifts Salem girls over Merrimack

Amanda Travaglini scored her second goal of the game at 9:50 of overtime to lift Salem to a 3-2 overtime victory in girls' soccer play Friday.
Salem (2-0) got a goal from Mikaela Gauvain and Merrimack (0-1) was led by goals by Calli Dwyer and Ashley Grassini.
Londonderry 7, Manchester Memorial 1: At Londonderry, Emily Crocetti's three goals led the Lancers, 2-2. Noelle Lambert, June Cranmer, Aliza Simpson and Leanna Geiger also scored. Vanessa Monzon scored for Memorial, 0-2-1.
Windham 4, Sanborn 0: At Windham, Hannah Pesci scored four goals and Rachel Zafides and Haley Psareas had one each to lead Windham (2-0). Brianna Angelini had four saves for the Jaguars. Ellery Rasmussen had five saves for Sanborn (1-2).
Inter-Lakes 3, White Mountains 2, OT: Caitlin Rotonnelli scored four minutes into overtime for her third goal of the game for Inter-Lakes (2-1). Inter-Lakes goalkeeper Reilly Donovan stopped eight shots by White Mountains (1-1-0) in the first half.
Littleton 2, Newport 1, OT: Tianna Sparks scored 5:43 into overtime as Littleton (2-0) remained undefeated. Tiffany Clark added nine saves against the visitors from Newport (1-1).
Newmarket 6, Farmington 0: Katrina Holmes scored a pair of goals for Newmarket (3-0), which has outscored its opponents 12-0 this season. Farmington (0-2) has lost both its games by the score of 6-0.
Hanover 11, Kennett 0: Sophie Lubrano had three goals and an assist and Eliza Laycock had a pair of goals and three assists for Hanover in a season-opening rout. Abby Smith and Kelly Brigham also scored twice against Kennett (0-2), which lost its opener 6-0.
Goffstown 7, Manchester West 0: Michele Tremblay had three goals and two assists and Nicole Nanof added two goals unbeaten Goffstown (3-0). Katie Bookway stopped 12 shots for West (0-3).
Pinkerton 3, Winnacunnet 0: Katy Ann Grochmal scored twice in the first half and Erin Coutts had a pair of assists as Pinkerton Academy (3-0) remained unbeaten. Brittany Viviano had nine saves for the visiting Warriors (1-2-0).
Timberlane 2, Spaulding 0: Emily Jackson had a goal and assists for Timberlane (1-1-0) and Emily Barrett made four saves for the shutout against winless Spaulding (0-3-0).
Sunapee 4, Concord Christian 0: Taylor Usko and Abby Armstrong each had as pair of goals to lead the visiting Lakers (1-0-1) over the Kingsmen (0-3).
Manchester Central 2, Nashua North 1: On Thursday at Gill Stadium, Emily Duchesne's goal halfway through the second overtime lifted the Little Green to victory. Sarah Thompson scored the other goal for Central, 1-1. Sarah Swallow tallied the lone goal for the Titans, 1-1-1.
Pittsfield 2, Epping 1, OT: On Friday night, Stef Gauthier scored in overtime for her second goal of the game to lift Pittsfield (2-0) to the win at home. Chole Pelletier had nine saves for Epping (1-2).
Londonderry 7, Memorial 1: Emily Crocetti scored three goals and had an assist for the Lancers (2-2). Vanessa Monzon scored the only goal for Memorial on a penalty kick and Rachel Thibeault finished with 17 saves for the visiting Crusaders (0-2-1).
Raymond 11, Mascenic 0: At New Ipswich, Tucker MacPherson's six goals led the Rams and Thomas Mercier, Samson Wallerstein, Collin Lee, Colton Corriveau and Cameron Corriveau each added a goal. Collin Deyarmin and Curt Fitton split the shutout in net for the Rams (2-1) against Mascenic (0-3).
Inter-Lakes 3, Mascoma 2: At Canaan, Mason Peverly scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner, for Inter-Lakes (2-1). Hunta Hayes and Cody McAlister scored for Mascoma (0-3).
Lebanon 6, Plymouth 1: Bennett Newlove's two goals led the home Red Raiders in the opener for both teams. Austin Whaley added a goal and two assists and Tanner Singleton and Martin Gradijan each had goals. Lebanon also had an own goal. Steve Southard scored for Plymouth.
Pembroke 2, Souhegan 0: Austin Sartwell scored in the sixth minute and Parker Heath added another goal for unbeaten Pembroke (2-0). Alex Teigue Young finished with nine saves for the host Sabers (1-2-0).
Timberlane 3, Spaulding 0: Tyler Donovan had a goal and an assist and Matt Rose made three saves to preserve the shutout for Timberlane (2-2-0). Spaulding (0-3) has not scored in its first three games.
Nashua South 1, Keene 0: Ryan Guidaboni scored the only goal and Chris Jimenez held on for a shutout at Nashau South on Friday afternoon. It was the first win of the season for Purple Bandits (1-2-0) and first loss for Keene (1-1-0).
Trinity 2, Kennett 1: Matt Sanchez had an assist in the first half and scored the game-winner in the 77th minute for Trinity (1-1). Camden Clark made 18 saves for the visiting Eagles (0-2).
Pinkerton 1, Winnacunnet 0: Sean Donohue scored in the 70th minute as Pinkerton Academy (3-0) remained unbeaten with a shutout at home. Thomas Vincent had 11 saves for the Warriors (2-1).
Sunapee 0, Concord Christian 0: At Concord, the Lakers (1-0-1) outshot the Kingsmen (0-2-1) 7-5 and held a 6-2 edge in corners.
Londonderry 0, Memorial 0: Londonderry and Memorial played two full halves and a pair of overtimes two overtimes without a goal, finishing in a scoreless tie. Mark Schrepfer made three saves for Memorial (0-1-2). Londonderry (0-1-1) is also in search of its first win of the season.
Hillsboro-Deering 1, Keararge 1: On Thursday, Jonas Hoffstetter staked Hillsboro-Deering to a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute. Keegan Matisse scored in the 32nd minute for Kearsarge to knot the game and extra time was not able to produce a winner.
Concord 3, Nashua South 0: Claire Celestin had six kills and freshmen Lauren Hatch added 10 kills and six blocks for the visiting Crimson Tide (1-0), who won 25-10, 25-20, 25-22 in the season opener.
Timberlane 3, Memorial 0: Christina Nye had 13 kills and 13 digs and Olivia Harnois finished with 24 assists as Timberlane (1-0) swept Memorial 25-18, 25-8, 25-16 on Friday. It was also the season opener for Memorial (0-1).
Souhegan 3, Fall Mountain 0: Sam Allen had six aces and Amanda Gendron added eight kills for Souhegan, which won 25-8, 25-17, 25-16 in both schools' opener.
Spaulding 3, Pinkerton 1: The Red Raiders outlasted the Astros in the fourth game to win 25-12, 21-25, 25-11 and 28-26 in the opener for both teams. Brooke Creteau had five kills and two aces, Casey Ford 11 digs and Jade Glidden 12 assists for Spaulding. Kelsey Cummings had 23 digs and Courtney Collins 10 kills for the Astros.
Moultonborough 3, Trinity 0: Elizabeth Graveline had three blocks and two kills for the Pioneers in the opener for both teams.
Belmont 3, Mascoma 0: Megan Bailey had 14 aces and added 14 assists for the Red Raiders as they won 25-10, 25-8, 25-4 in the season opener for both schools.
Farmington 3, Hillsboro-Deering 0: Emily Hatcher had nine aces to lead Farmington to a sweep over Hillsboro-Deering 25-7, 25-15, 25-22 in the season opener for both schools.
Derryfield 6, Newfound 0: At Manchester, twin seniors Colbi and Berklee Vaillancourt kept up their scoring ways. The Vaillancourts and sophomore Polly Carter each scored a pair of goals. Colbi had four goals and Berklee a pair of goals in a win on Wednesday. Kate Johnson had three saves for Derryfield. Megan Sharp had seven saves for Newfound.
Winnacunnet 4, Pinkerton 2: At Derry, Madison Holt, Megan Chase, Elisabeth Auffant and Caitlin Fratto each had a goal for the Warriors, 2-0. Julie Saltamartini scored both goals for the Astros, 1-1. Jordan Dudley had 12 saves for Pinkerton and Lily Craig made one for Winnacunnet.
Pinkerton 1, Winnacunnet 0: Sophomore Sean Donohue scored the lone goal in the 70th minute to keep Pinkerton Academy of Derry undefeated at 3-0. Eric Werner made five saves for the shutout. Thomas Vincent stopped 11 in the Winnacunnet of Hampton (2-1-0) net.
