Candidates file for aldermen seats in Nashua
There have been some last-minute changes in the Ward 1 race for alderman, as candidate Corey Genest has withdrawn his name from the ballot. That will leave incumbent Kathryn Vitale to try and secure her seat against Sean McGuinness of Shelburne Road.
In Ward 4, incumbent Arthur Craffey Jr. will go up against state Rep. Pamela Brown for that position.
"I really believe that understanding the needs of our city and how the municipal operations run will help me be a better representative for Nashua," Brown said. "It will be nice to get out there and talk to the citizens and find out what is working in the city and what needs to change."
In Ward 6, Alderman Paul Chasse will face off against Kathy Snyder of Jalbert Drive.
Ward 7 incumbent June Caron will run unopposed in the November election, as no one registered to run against her. This will be the only uncontested alderman race on the ballot.
Currier has been a member of the Nashua Zoning Board for several years and previously served on the city's Conservation Commission.
