Three pectoral sandpipers were seen at World End Pond in Salem on Aug. 30.
A great egret was seen at Field’s Grove in Nashua on Aug. 30.
Raptor migration is under way with them already being seen from the Pack Monadnock Raptor Migration Observatory in Peterborough, and from the Carter Hill Observatory in Concord.
Be sure to visit these staffed observatories this fall season to help out with the count.
