Cardinals' Chris Carpenter to headline Granite State Baseball Dinner

New Hampshire native and two-time World Series winning pitcher Chris Carpenter will highlight the guest list at the 2013 Granite State Baseball Dinner on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 5 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel Expo Center in Manchester.

The guest list also includes two-time Cy Young winner and 1968 American League MVP Denny McLain as well as 1975 Red Sox playoff hero Bernie Carbo.

Former big leaguers Darrell Evans, Ron Blomberg, Scott McGregor, Jim Beattie, Richie Scheinblum and John Frascatore will attend, along with current Rays pitcher Alex Cobb. New Hampshire’s young players will be represented by 2013 National League All-Star Jeff Locke and minor leaguers Jordan Cote, Brad Zapenas, Michael Fransoso and Joey Maher.
Tickets are available for $80 each. Fisher Cats season ticket holders may purchase tickets beginning today at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available for the general public beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday. Tickets are available at the Fisher Cats ticket office, at, and by calling 641-2005.
