Service Credit Union wins Army award
PORTSMOUTH — Service Credit Union was selected for the 2012 Distinguished Army Credit Union Service Award by the U.S. Army in recognition of exceptional financial service at the Army community in Grafenwoehr, Germany.
The award was presented at the recent Defense Credit Union Council annual conference. In a recommendation letter from the U.S. Army Garrison Grafenwoehr Commander James Saenz, said, "Service Credit Union stands outs as the leader in crucial financial need areas such as combating predatory lending, community financial education, 24/7 worldwide access and a full range of high quality, low-cost financial solutions for our soldiers."
Service Credit Union has 24 branches in New Hampshire, one in Massachusetts, and 17 branches on U.S. military bases in Germany.
