Expect delays on Wolfeboro’s South Main Street

WOLFEBORO — Wolfeboro police and school district officials are reminding motorists to plan for extended delays as they travel in the vicinity of South Main Street in front of Carpenter School this month.

Parking and traveling along South Main Street will be affected as two major construction projects begin — one at town hall and another at the Wolfeboro First Congregational Church.

Wolfeboro Police Lt. Dean Rondeau said the projects coincide with the start of the school year, and that congestion will increase with school busses and morning commuters traveling along South Main Street.

Rondeau recommended that motorists leave 15 minutes earlier than their travel route may take in an effort to mitigate expected delays along Route 109 North or South (South Main Street) by Carpenter School. Another strategy may be to avoid travel in front of Carpenter School, or to seek other routes that avoid the construction zones.

Christie is the real deal

We have found Gov. Chris Christie to be the most consistent, the most confident in his abilities, the most tested under fire, and the most likely to regain the White House from a disastrous Democratic regime.
